1/2 Rack BBQ Baby Back Ribs review by Marsha
Ordered the full Rack BBQ Baby Back Ribs ! They were Phenomenal & Best Ribs I have had in my 78 Years. They had great taste, tender and fall off the bone delicious. We sat at the bar and John our server was efficient and very nice!

Growing up on Boston's North Shore has made me a seafood snob. My family all gathered at Sylvan Street's Peabody location after a memorial service. We were a large party but everyone's order came out perfectly prepared. I ordered the Fried Scallops. I was really hungry and it felt like forever until everybody's food finally arrived but it was definitely worth the wait. My scallops were perfectly fried and such a high quality product I wished I could have ordered a larger size…they were that good. The smell drove everyone around me wild and wishing they ordered what I was lucky to get. Not one person got to taste my scallops…I wasn't prepared to share. Next time they'll know better what to order…

My husband and I went to SSG in Peabody yesterday for lunch and sat at the bar. Zach was a fantastic bartender - very personable! Both martinis that were ordered tasted amazing - the Espresso Martini and the Strawberry Cream Tini. We started our lunch with the pretzels and queso dip, so good! My husband ordered the Cape Cod Reuben and I ordered the Warm Spinach Dip (my favorite) with a side of onion rings for my meal. Get the spinach dip, it's so good and creamy. I'm always impressed whenever I order the onion rings here because they are hand-breaded and don't just come frozen like at some places. We have been coming here for years, and recently started coming back more often because you can't beat the prices, the service is great, and the food always comes out tasting good.

For most of my life, Sylvan Street Grille was a place I knew about rather than a place I visited. I have an immediate family connection to the restaurant, and for reasons that go back many years, walking through the doors wasn't something that came easily to me. Over time, I realized it was important to set aside old perceptions and form my own opinions. In the last two months, I've visited twice, and both experiences were excellent. On my first visit, I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor, while the mashed potatoes were the kind of comfort food that keeps you coming back. On my second visit, I had the full rack of BBQ ribs, and they were outstanding. Tender, meaty, and perfectly cooked, they were some of the best ribs I've had in a long time. The drinks were great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. What stood out most was how easy it was to relax and simply enjoy the experience. Sylvan Street Grille has been part of my family's story for a long time. I'm glad I finally gave myself the opportunity to create my own chapter. Great food, great service, and a reminder that sometimes the best experiences come when you're willing to see things for yourself. I'll definitely be back.
